The Association of Recovery Schools (ARS) is a non-profit organization that empowers, supports, and inspires all existing and emerging recovery schools that serve high school students living with substance use or co-occurring disorders. As many adolescents who seek treatment relapse within soon after returning to their previous school, recovery schools provide students the opportunity to grow in both their recovery and their education. We help recovery schools by providing support and services based on our organization's 5 pillars: - Access to Resources - Accreditation - Advocacy - Consultation & Training - Research Our organization continually works to support recovery schools because all students deserve to receive an education in a safe, sober, and supportive environment.
