We collaborate with partners to develop and implement new strategies to improve health outcomes; empower patients, families, and communities to achieve high quality care; and foster grassroots, forward-thinking solutions to our nation's most vexing healthcare problems. Our clients benefit from the expertise of interdisciplinary professionals working in patient and healthcare advocacy, social science research, e-health technologies, and social entrepreneurship. Founded in 2006, Health Advocacy Solutions is overseen by a an executive director, supported by a volunteer team of advisors, and governed by a board of directors drawn from the communities we serve. In June of 2009, we received formal 501(c)(3) recognition from the IRS as a charitable, tax-exempt organization. Our Funding We fund our work through a combination of grants, donations, and strategic consulting to support projects that share our mission. Unlike many other patient advocacy organizations, we do not receive major funding from pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, device manufacturers, or other organized health-care industry groups. Leave It On The Road

Leave It On The Road is a cycling-oriented 501c3 nonprofit, dedicated to raising awareness and driving funds to END cancer. We host meaningful and challenging bike rides – including one very large 1,000+mi "mission" ride – to motivate and excite as many people as possible to get involved in fighting cancer. In our 5th year we have worked with and funded 5 different cancer-fighting charities, amassing over $100,000 in donations.
