The Sarah Grace Sarcoma Foundation "Kick Sarcoma"

The Sarah-Grace Sarcoma Foundation is a registered (ACN 144533595) non-profit non- governmental organization, with a tax deductible gift recipient status. It is governed by a voluntary Board of 3 directors and 5 founding members whose time is donated pro-bono. The Board, which meets quarterly, is responsible for the broad strategic directions, key policies, working ethics and accountability of the foundation.The Foundation is also regulated by Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the Australian Tax Office (ATO). The Sarah-Grace Sarcoma Foundation advocates for increased research to find new and better therapies with which to treat patients with Sarcomas, which are rare and deadly cancers that affect hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. The Sarah Grace Sarcoma Foundation grew in 2013 by expanding globally to Singapore, with 2 successful events raising almost $100,000. Cherish Women's Cancer Foundation

Each year in Australia, 5000 women are diagnosed with gynaecological cancer. Almost a third of these women will not survive beyond five years. Despite the alarming statistics, gynaecological cancer research receives very little government funding compared to other women's cancers and receives limited community attention. Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation is dedicated to raising much-needed public awareness and vital funding for world-leading gynaecological cancer research being conducted in Australia. Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation is a Queensland-based registered charity established in 2012, aiming to transform gynaecological cancer research in Australia and improve outcomes for women and families fighting the battle. The foundation supports world-leading research into ovarian, cervical, uterine, endometrial, vulval and vaginal cancer treatment.

Country Education Foundation of Australia

At Country Education Foundation of Australia (CEF) our mission is to foster the further education, career and personal development opportunities of rural and regional youth, through community-based encouragement and financial assistance. One way we do this is through our network of local foundations across the country. These foundations are run by community volunteers all with one thing in common – a passion for seeing rural and regional youth succeed. The CEF approach to locally-based fundraising, grants and support is a proven success. Independent research shows that for every dollar invested in our work a return of $3.10 is created in social value – changing the lives of young Australians, their families and their communities. Together our foundations have helped almost 5000 young Australians become nurses, teachers, plumbers, accountants, pilots, builders, scientists, hairdressers and engineers. Local foundations engage in fundraising to provide local grants and scholarships to youth in their areas. This financial support ranges from $500 to $5000 per student, per year and helps buy textbooks and laptops for uni students, purchase tools and equipment for apprentices and assists rural and regional youth to relocate to take up career opportunities. CEF provides a lot more than just grants. We also support and mentor students throughout their studies or apprenticeships. For most students, this community support is just as important as the financial assistance. It’s about knowing that their community is backing them and believes in their aspirations. Many of our alumni tell us this, including Dr Ceridwen Boel: “The CEF grant was incredibly helpful in a practical sense. But it was more than financial aid. Being awarded the CEF grant felt like a high vote of confidence in me and my abilities, and it gave me a sense of achievement and encouragement during one of the hardest transitional periods of my life”.

Christina Noble Children's Foundation Australia

Christina Noble Children's Foundation is an International Partnership of people dedicated to serving underprivileged children with the hope of helping each child maximize their life potential. Our programmes in Vietnam and Mongolia seek to protect children, while ensuring these and other children in need have access to basic care and educational opportunities. The programmes include: emergency and long-term medical care, nutritional rehabilitation, educational and vocational training and job placement. This is accomplished within the context of the family and the community whenever possible, and always with love and respect for the dignity of each child as an individual.
