We are a technical consultancy specialized in the implementation and operation of naval enterprises, founded in 1999 by a group of naval engineers with extensive experience in construction and regulatory aspects. We decided to come together and establish AQUAPAR Naval Consulting, aiming to provide consultancy services to companies involved in waterborne transportation looking to start or expand their businesses in Brazil. Our goal is to ensure a thorough understanding of local legislation and available incentives. AQUAPAR has become specialized in providing support to companies in obtaining financial assistance for vessel and shipyard construction, as well as monitoring the progress of these projects to ensure the release of funds by the financial agents of the Merchant Marine Fund (FMM). We have participated in financing projects for the construction of the first shipyard to utilize FMM resources and monitored its construction for the release of funds by BNDES. In total, we have been involved in projects with contracted financing exceeding USD 4.0 billion, including the construction of 4 shipyards and 40 vessel construction projects. Over the years, AQUAPAR has established itself as a leading consultancy in Brazilian regulatory support for national and international clients, with a focus on oil and gas maritime activities, waterborne transportation, naval construction and repair, vessel chartering and importation, and Brazilian flag registration (REB). AQUAPAR is a reference in consultancy for the process of obtaining financial support for maritime sector projects and in regulatory support for the implementation and operation of naval enterprises.
