CIRCA DIES is the Latin origin of the word circadian: circā about + di(ēs) day. The name CIRCA DIES speaks directly to the root of circadian impactful design, the temporal relationship of all living creatures with the sun, and the daily light-dark cycle. Metaphorically, CIRCA DIES speaks to our overarching philosophy: the creation of nurturing designs that support daily routine and enhance lives through environmental design responses that can improve every day of one's life. CIRCA DIES specializes in the assessment, design, and commissioning of occupant supportive and nurturing spaces through: • Advancing the impact and relevance of sustainable design strategies by redefining sustainability as an occupant-centric response that lies at the intersection of environmental performance, human performance, and experience. • Analyzing and supporting design solutions that address Key Environmental Performance Indicators for Health and Wellness including metrics for circadian impactful lighting, indoor air quality, biophilic design and healthier materials choices. • Leveraging relationships with leading researchers and academics, manufacturer partners and innovative practitioners to create best-in-class applications that can serve as case studies for industry. • Using a suite of analysis tools to predict occupant's circadian impact during the design phase, accurately commission the project at time of install, and validate success post occupancy.
