Since 1961 we have offered wonderful summer camping experiences for boys and girls from Ontario and around the world. In a safe and beautiful outdoor setting, with competent, enthusiastic leaders, children have the opportunity to grow as individuals through wholesome activity in all areas of outdoor living. Camp Tawingo is committed to providing our campers with the experience of a lifetime. Our work and play are guided, are driven by a camper-centeredness philosophy. Every decision, action, policy, and program at Tawingo has as its focus the camper – the camper’s comfort, growth, experience, and development. To this we are also committed. At Tawingo, we believe that the goal of Camp is to learn to appreciate and live in harmony with the out-of-doors, and one another…and that this learning happens best in a setting that is an oasis of safe and wholesome free play for children, an oasis free of cell phones, iPods, and other gadgets. Parents tell us that the Tawingo experience their children describe reminds them of the days when they used to be able to play outside, with all the other neighbourhood children, until the street lights came on.

“Our mission at Eléa Estate is to deliver a supreme experience for everyone. Whether for golfers on the course, or visitors relaxing in the Clubhouse and enjoying our world-class culinary experience, our focus will be on delivering levels of service throughout our operation which surpass all their expectations.” The course is also supported by the Eléa Golf Academy that sits alongside the clubhouse. It features a full length driving range complete with target greens and bunkers, a short game practice area and a stunning putting green that commands an imposing location overlooking the entire estate. Although Eléa Golf Club will undoubtedly attract visitors from across Europe and beyond, the management team is also keen to develop a club-style atmosphere for the residents of Cyprus. With this in mind, a limited number of annual memberships will be available and successful candidates will enjoy a host of benefits, including a members’ trophy bar, wonderful locker rooms, a private terrace, preferential tee times and unlimited access to the golf academy, which will also offer the very latest computer-aided swing analysis equipment. Ross Robertson added: “We have a responsibility to serve the community in Cyprus as well as attracting visitors from overseas. We are keen to develop a healthy membership that will enjoy all the benefits, both playing and social, of being a part of a golf club which epitomizes all that is good about our great game.”

The Lifeguard Company is on a mission to revolutionize the commercial lifeguarding and recreation staffing industry. We recognize that for too long, commercial swimming pools and recreation centers have been underserved and underutilized. These facilities have been underserved because traditional, all-in-one swimming pool companies are not structured to equip their staff with the fundamental skills needed to maximize the safety of the its patrons properly. They have also been underutilized as a means of equipping youth and young adults with the skills they need to have successful careers in Canada’s evolving job market and ever changing cultural and community dynamics.
