Melaine Rubin's business, Laine Too Temporary Body Art, was created because of Melaine's understanding of the marketplace and her creativity abilities. As a former planner for corporate events, she knew how to create the WOW factor for any affair.
In the beginning, Melaine wanted to find something unique to offer at her daughter's Bat Mitzvah Party. After doing some research, Melaine found a temporary tattoo glitter kit that was new in the market. These tattoos were easily applied so each friend went home looking special.
After the party, she received multiple phone calls from parents wanting to know who to hire to do something special for their children's Bat Mitzvah or birthday party. Melaine spent more than a year researching the entertainment industry and finding out all she could about face paint, tattoos and other body art products. This resulted in Melaine creating her own tattoos and officially opening her business, Laine Too.
Always willing to look for more creative ideas, Melaine discovered a method for creative nail art. She has thousands of custom images and logos that are digitally applied graphics. She is the first one in the Chicago area to use this technique.
