Our mission is to be the preeminent association and foundation for ALL Marines and friends of the Corps dedicated to leader development, recognition of professional excellence and expanding awareness of the rich traditions, history, and spirit of the United States Marine Corps.

Alpha Sigma Tau enriches our members' lives by providing them with a network and opportunities to develop relevant skills that help them navigate life—both now as college students and beyond graduation. Our members live our tagline of Defining Excellence and never settle for the status quo. We pride ourselves in being lifelong learners, involved in our communities, and the best we can be in all areas of our lives. We are committed to lifting women up through service, mentorship, and our simple daily interactions. Alpha Sigma Taus understand that they're a key part to something larger than themselves and are dedicated to propelling us forward. Alpha Sigma Tau empowers women to excel in life.

IMPACT Community Action

The mission of IMPACT Community Action is to reduce poverty by providing hope-inspiring help and real opportunities for self-sufficiency. IMPACT has a federally mandated tripartite board composed of elected officials, private sector representatives, and communituy-based representatives who are elected by the residents of the geographical area they represent. IMPACT serves a diverse population and has staff members that speak multiple languages including: Spanish, Somali, French, and several East African dialects. The concept of Community Action has been part of the American social fabric for over forty years. The Community Action movement dates back to 1964, when the Economic Opportunity Act was passed, indicating the beginning of President Lyndon B. Johnson's War on Poverty. The United States has 1,100 Community Action Agencies that provide services to 96% of the nation's counties. Ohio is home to 50 Community Action Agencies that provide services to all 88 counties, including Franklin County. IMPACT is part of a state and national network committed to: ~Empowering low-income individuals and families in their effort to become self-sufficient. ~Advocating for a poverty-free community. ~Stimulating expansion of economic opportunity for the poor and the community through economic development programs and services.

Eanes Education Foundation

Eanes Education Foundation (EEF) is a private, nonprofit foundation that raises community funds for the benefit of the Eanes Independent School District in Austin, Texas. EEF seeks current and endowed financial support from the community and corporate donors to provide and sustain district-wide opportunities for educational excellence within Eanes ISD. The Eanes school district strives to be the leader in public education in Texas and across the country. While the state provides the Eanes district with funding, those dollars are limited, and alone do not provide the funds needed for Eanes ISD to offer the excellent education we expect for our students. EEF's mission is to fund the gap between adequate and excellent education by funding teacher and staff positions that are not required but vital to the quality education offered by Eanes ISD.
