Eurasian Resources Group (ERG) is a leading diversified natural resources group. It has a portfolio of production assets and development projects in 15 countries, and is represented by more than 75,000 people globally. ERG Africa operates all ERG’s assets on the African continent and has a workforce of around 3,500. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), ERG Africa mines and processes copper and cobalt ore and produces copper and cobalt hydroxide. Its assets include Frontier mine and Metalkol Roan Tailings Reclamation (RTR), a major tailings reprocessing operation. The operation is situated on the farm Dwarsrivier on the southern part of the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex some 35 kilometres south-west of Burgersfort in Limpopo, South Africa.
