DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership

DCNP is a membership-based network of partners within the nonprofit sector serving DeKalb County (IL). It is composed of nonprofit organizations in combination with resource providers who fund, help coordinate, and are supportive of the efforts of local nonprofits. DCNP is directed by a local steering committee and represents the areas of Art and Culture, Education, Health and Human Services, Advocacy, Community Development, and Civic Engagement. Role of Partnership: To increase the coordination, efficiency, and effectiveness of resource providers and nonprofit organizations serving DeKalb County. To provide education, training, and tools to strengthen local nonprofit agencies.

Delivering Innovation in Supportive Housing (DISH)

We believe everyone deserves a home. Everyday, we provide high-quality, permanent housing to San Franciscans who suffer from serious health issues. With our help, they can get off the streets, rebuild their lives, and strengthen our communities. Delivering Innovation in Supportive Housing (DISH) was founded in September 2006 to provide property management services for the Direct Access to Housing Program, a project of the San Francisco Department of Public Health. The guiding principle for DISH was to be a small organization dedicated to serving adults with complex health, mental health, and substance use issues in supportive housing. Our goal was to be a strong partner in the City’s effort to end homelessness in San Francisco. DISH provides housing for 450 tenants and has approximately 70 employees. DISH is a project of the Tides Center.

New Avenues for Youth

New Avenues is an innovative, influential social services agency that works in partnership with the Portland area community to provide homeless, foster-care, and at-risk youth of all backgrounds with the resources and skills needed to lead healthy, productive lives. At New Avenues, everyone is youth centered and collaboratively work together to accomplish our mission. We are a diverse non-profit organization serving this community for over 23 years. Connecting Dreams Foundation (CDF) is a non-profit foundation registered and licensed under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956. Government of India. The mandate of CDF is to architect social transformational interventions and campaigns using technology that create positive impact across the globe. CDF aims to Empower youth and women in rural India through connectivity and entrepreneurship. We at CDF, believe in “bridging the difference” between the Rural and Urban India. And we aim to achieve this by setting up sustainable models of education, healthcare and livelihood in rural areas. The cities and villages when connected with each other by an appropriate technology would give rise to a healthy network and a common platform where people who need the services and the ones who provide them can come together. Connectivity, for us, is integral to discover the untapped potential of human resource. All we need to do for positive and lasting change is connect dreams, spark aspirations and share achievements.
