HDPlus announces an automated solution to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity management. BRMgr (Business Recovery Manager) is an online solution that provides templates designed to help your staff quickly build well-defined, complete Disaster Recovery and/or Business Continuity plans to help reduce risks and improve your company's abilities to recover from a disaster or a critical system failure.
The system builds a plan fully documented to guide your team(s) through the stages of recovery. Each step is dispatched to the right team in sequential order. Your people receive email messages with detail instructions of what to do and when to do it.
The emails (and text messages) are dispatched by BRMgr using a two-way dialogue with the team member, when the individual accepts the tasks BRMgr updates the dashboard, then when complete the task is cleared and the next sequential task is dispatched also via email and text. BRMgr is constantly tracking each tasks to ensure it is completed timely and then dispatches the next sequential tasks. As the process continues an executive dashboard is maintained to display the progress.
Each plan is fully tested to ensure completeness, then automatically monitored by BRMgr. Should BRMgr detect something has changed with assigned staff or assets being protected an alert is generated. DR plans are difficult enough without having them become outdated after investing the time and effort to build a good, workable DR / BC plan. BRMgr not only makes the tasks of building and testing the plan easy, it also ensures the plan remains relevant.
Since BRMgr is fully embedded into HDPlus, a complete asset management, staff management, and ticketing system is included to support the Disaster Recovery and/or Business Continuity planning.
