Cataléthique aims at facilitating the sharing of best practices in social responsibility and sustainable development.

Bee Urban Sweden AB

Coastwalk California

Coastwalk California is a non-profit organization that advocates for completion of the California Coastal Trail (CCT), better coastal public access, and environmental protection. Beyond its direct advocacy, it organizes dayhikes and multi-day summer camping and hiking adventures, "Coastwalks", along the California coast to acquaint the public with California's wonderful but fragile shoreline. In addition to its website, coastwalk.org, it maintains a growing resource about the coast on the web, californiacoastaltrail.info. The latter site has close to 400 annotated maps of the California coast, showing the CCT; these maps are an on-going project of Coastwalk's staff and volunteers. Completion of the 1200 mile CCT is a priority for the State; an official logo can be viewed at either of the websites mentioned above.

Big Green Feet

BIG GREEN FEET makes sustainability fun, and helps us reduce our carbon footprint in novel and enjoyable ways. We are a not for profit Community Interest Company based in Giffnock/Thornliebank Glasgow Scotland and operating anywhere people want to reduce their carbon footprint. We develop projects with communities, sports clubs, businesses, events and individuals. We try to think as innovatively as possible and aim to win grants and sponsorship to fund our ideas. We’re Big Green Feet, but we’re helping to make your carbon footprint smaller. One of our projects: GIFFNOCK RECYCLING BIKE Big Green Feet’s Giffnock Recycling Bike & Food Waste Reduction project aims to collect food waste from businesses within the Giffnock Community on a regular basis. It is all part of Scotland’s Climate Change initiative for communities. We replace lorries – that sometimes do as little as 6mpg – with pedal power. We believe we’re the first organisation in Scotland to move waste through using specially customised cargo bikes, with cyclists providing a CO2 free way of moving waste – and think of the savings in fuel costs! We will use the recycling bike, a three wheeler cargo bike, which will be pedaled by a group of community volunteers to collect the food waste from restaurants, take away and food shops in Giffnock, and cycle it to a digester where it will be turned into compost. The compost will be donated to the local park, allotments or local gardeners. You may have seen this bike at Festival 2014 where we first tried it out.
