Since 1999 we have distributed in excess of £52 million to charities and community groups in Lancashire and Merseyside. Our knowledge of the sector allows us to find and reach charities in our community, including lesser-known charities operating at grass roots, ensuring charitable awards create lasting change. We work as part of a national network of 46 UK Community Foundations that undertake a strategic and robust, grant making service which contributes to achieving maximum impact in local communities. We help individuals, families, companies, charitable trusts, public sector bodies and organisations such as Comic Relief, the Big Lottery Fund and British Red Cross connect, support and invest in Lancashire's and Merseyside's communities through charitable giving. We provide sound management, due diligence and administration support services to make charitable giving easy, tax-efficient and robust. We offer our clients independent and professional advice on charitable giving, linking you to exceptional charities that are seeking funding. Our ultimate vision is to drive as much investment into the voluntary and community sector of Lancashire Merseyside to enrich the lives of people and grow stronger communities together.

The Global Business Initiative on Human Rights

A global business-led initiative Advancing respect for human rights through peer learning and by strengthening business practice ____________________________________________________ GBI is a unique business-led organisation committed to strengthening corporate respect for human rights. We do this by sharing leading practice, examining challenges and potential solutions, and ensuring our members have greater insight into emerging trends and issues. GBI is made up of a committed group of respected multinational corporations with operations in diverse industries and regions. GBI members are working to embed respect for human rights in their business and operations. We are a community of business practitioners from diverse business functions who are responsible for leading member companies' human rights journeys. We convene multiple times a year, in-person and remotely, and regularly engage with other business, governments and civil society so that members and the GBI team can add value to ongoing efforts to address governance gaps and build the case for business to respect human rights. Our work to inform good practice, inspire corporate commitment and build capability to advance the human rights agenda in a business context is in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and other relevant international standards. As major multinationals, GBI's members are well-placed to drive positive standards, policy and practice within their industries. Individually and collectively, they can positively impact the day-to-day realities of hundreds of millions of people and contribute to sustainable development in thousands of communities and to economies around the world.

CESSAC & CESSA HA Ltd

CESSAC is a tri-Service charity (226684) that provides homely, welcoming places for serving armed forces personnel (and/or their families), currently in 8 locations across UK, Cyprus and the Falklands. CESSA Housing Association provides sheltered housing for elderly ex-Service personnel and/or their families, in and around the Portsmouth area. Through CESSAC, there is also an agreement with Greenwich Hospital that the same staff manage 3 further schemes for former sailors and their partners in Greenwich, Portsmouth & Saltash. CESSA is an abbreviation for CofE Soldiers', Sailors' & Airmen's - the CofE element simply recognises the origins and ethos of the organisation, which has never been religious in operation, welcoming those of all faiths and none for over 125 years.

Causeway Coast and Glens Heritage Trust

Mission Statement: "We endeavour to raise awareness of the special qualities of the natural, built and cultural heritage of the Causeway Coast & Glens area including the Antrim Coast & Glens, Binevenagh, and Causeway Coast Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty; promoting environmental management and sustainable development that aims to conserve and enhance the unique heritage of the area for the benefit of all" The Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust is a public/private/voluntary sector partnership established in May 2002 as an independent company limited by guarantee. It includes representation from Ballymena, Ballymoney, Coleraine, Larne, Limavady, and Moyle Borough and District Councils in partnership with representatives from the environment, the community, the education, the farming and the tourism sectors.
