Stiftung Eben-Ezer

Eben-Ezer: Diakonie für ein Leben in Vielfalt  Zum 1. Januar 2022 ist Eben-Ezer in den Verbund der v. Bodelschwinghschen Stiftungen Bethel eingetreten. Sie ist damit neben den vier Stiftungen Bethel, Sarepta, Nazareth und Lobetal die fünfte Stiftung. Rechtlich wird Eben-Ezer im lippischen Lemgo selbstständig bleiben. Alle fünf Stiftungen werden nun von einem gemeinsamen Vorstand unter dem Vorsitz von Pastor Ulrich Pohl geleitet. Pastor Dr. Bartolt Haase und Udo Zippel leiten neben der Tätigkeit im gemeinsamen Vorstand die Stiftung Eben-Ezer als Geschäftsführer. Falko Heise ist ebenfalls neues Mitglied in der gemeinsamen Geschäftsführung. Die Stiftung Eben-Ezer leistet ihre Dienste in der Region Lippe für rund 4.000 Menschen: vom Kind bis zum Senioren. Sie ist Arbeitgeberin für 2.000 Menschen. Die Stiftungsarbeit beruht auf der Überzeugung, dass jeder Mensch von der Hilfe Gottes lebt. Unter ihrem diakonischen Leitbild "Leben in Vielfalt" arbeitet die Stiftung dafür, dass Menschen, die spezielle Begleitung brauchen, ihr Leben so erfüllt und eigenständig wie möglich leben und an der Gesellschaft teilhaben können. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt in der Begleitung und Unterstützung von Menschen mit Behinderung und psycho-sozialem Unterstützungsbedarf. Die Angebote der Lebensbegleitung umfassen differenzierte Wohnangebote, Beratung, schulische und berufliche Bildung, Werkstätten für behinderte Menschen, Landwirtschaft, einen Integrationsbetrieb und Förderstätten, medizinische, psychologische und therapeutische Versorgung, eine Kirchengemeinde, integrative Cafés sowie Angebote in den Bereichen Kultur und Freizeitgestaltung. Eben-Ezer ist Trägerin evangelischer integrativer Kindertageseinrichtungen und Familienzentren, eines Berufskollegs mit beruflichem Gymnasium, Fachrichtung Sozialwesen, einer Grundschule für Kinder mit und ohne Handicap und offener Gantagsschulen. Außerdem ist Eben-Ezer Gesellschafterin von Diakonie Ambulant gGmbH, die ca. 700 Menschen pflegt.

We restore ties between homeless people living in great uncertainty, their environment and the health services. We follow our patients until they can be moved into housing, where a network is then put in place around them. This is why IDR works in the street but also practices Housing First. This global approach ensures that our actions last in time and help avoid a return of the patient to the street. As a whole, our main objective is the eradication of homelessness. Notre mission est de rétablir les liens entre les personnes sans abri, leur environnement et les services de santé. Le suivi du patient se prolonge jusqu'à sa stabilisation dans un logement, où un réseau se forme autour de lui. C'est pourquoi IDR (Infirmier de rue) fait du travail de rue mais aussi du Housing First. Cette approche intégrale garantit la durabilité des actions d'IDR et permet d'éviter un retour en rue. De façon globale, IDR a comme objectif central, la fin du sans-abrisme. We zorgen er voor dat daklozen die in erg precaire omstandigheden leven, terug terug aansluiting vinden met hun omgeving en met de sociale- en gezondheidsdiensten. We volgen onze patiënten op tot ze een vaste verblijfplaats hebben of tot ze daadwerkelijk een schakel worden van een netwerk. We doen niet alleen aan straatwerk maar zijn ook bezig met Housing First. Deze integrale aanpak garandeert de duurzaamheid van onze acties en maakt dat mensen hopelijk niet meer terug op straat belanden. Globaal gezien is streefdoel te komen tot het einde van de dakloosheid."

Deanwood Citizens Association

The Deanwood Citizens Association (DCA) is a not for profit, volunteer led, civic organization representing the interests of residents in the historic Deanwood neighborhood in Washington, D.C. DCA's members, programs, partnerships and advocacy initiatives seek to make Deanwood a safer, more beautiful, and more connected community for all. DCA was established in 1912 by concerned neighbors seeking to improve their neighborhood. The history of the Deanwood neighborhood and the history of the Deanwood Citizens Association are rich and filled with inspiring examples of civic engagement and community cooperation. DCA is a member of the Federation of Citizens Associations of the District of Columbia and the D.C. Federation of Civic Associations (DCFCA).
