American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology

Guided by our motto, “Improving human life, one behavior at a time”, the American Institute for Behavioral Research & Technology is a nonprofit organization that conducts, promotes, and advances research on behavior to improve the human condition, develop possible applications of such research, and to educate the public about both our research and its applications. Based in Vista, California, AIBRT is led by senior research psychologist and distinguished scientist Dr. Robert Epstein. To pursue our mission of promoting research, AIBRT conducts relevant research, presents at scientific conferences, publishes reports in both scientific and popular publications, develops possible applications, and keeps the public informed through classes, workshops, internet activities, videos, and a variety of other publishing and media activities. Currently, we have ongoing research on twelve different topics that are important in today’s world: Creativity, Parenting, Mind and Brain, Sexual Orientation, Mental Health, Stress Management, Morality, Adolescence, Motivation, Artificial Intelligence, Love and Relationships, and most recently, the Coronavirus, as well as Internet Privacy and Online Manipulation.
