IHCantabria

The Environmental Hydraulics Institute "IHCantabria"​ is a mixed research institute that arises from the combined effort of two institutions, the University of Cantabria and the Government of Cantabria through the Institute of Environmental Hydraulics of Cantabria Foundation. The Institute's activities focus on basic and applied research as well as the development of studies, methodologies and tools for the integrated management of aquatic ecosystems including inland waters, transitional waters and coastal waters, integrating all relevant processes , As well as socio-economic aspects for an efficient and sustainable management of the integral water cycle. This work has placed IHCantabria in the national and international elite of the area of ​scientific-technological knowledge related to the water cycle in its various facets. IHCantabria is made up of more than 140 researchers and has more than thirty years of experience. To achieve its objectives, the Institute carries out three types of activities: Research, Technological Transfer and Training. The IHCantabria facilities have been financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, Government of Cantabria and FEDER Funds of the European Union to become a Single Technical Scientific Facility (ICTS).

CEMAS

CEMAS was founded in 1989 to provide an analytical service that delivers quality data on time. More than 30 years later CEMAS remains an independent family-owned business that has retained a keen focus on quality and delivery. CEMAS has grown to provide a range of services to the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, veterinary medicine and biocide industries. In 2014 we moved to our brand new purpose-built laboratories in Wokingham. Our scientists bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles. Many study directors and senior analysts have more than 25 years of experience and we maintain a large range of modern equipment. We offer a range of services, from analysis and method development to full multi-site study management. GLP was a key part of CEMAS when it was established in 1989 and, along with GMP and GCP, remains central to the business. We undertake residue analysis, physical and analytical chemistry, operator exposure studies, OECD 505 feeding studies, pharmaceutical batch release and CMC testing and pharmaceutical bioanalysis, supported by full method development, validation and method transfer. Syrian Researchers Foundation

Syrian Researchers is a scientific network addressing Arabic speaking individuals and societies. It was launched by a group of academics in Syria and abroad to raise the scientific and academic level of the Syrian society in particular and in the Arab one in general, and to spread science in all readable, audible and visual means. Today, "Syrian Researchers" is considered the largest Arabic scientific assemblage on the internet by its quantity of daily-published scientific content and by the number of its followers and visits. The activities of Syrian Researchers can be divided into several domains: publishing and translating local and international scientific research, developing scientific visual content in an attractive and modern way, responding to readers' inquiries and providing academic and scientific consolations, in addition to organizing scientific activities and fairs and developing partnerships with direct or indirect added value. The scientific method, work organizing and having faith in our goals are credited for our pioneering role in the Arab world. Believing in their slogan "Science is the solution" the team works on spreading scientific awareness as a first step to raise the scientific and academic level of the Syrian society and the Arab one in general.
