Avec ses 425 employés et son chiffre d'affaires de plus de 30 millions de dollars, le Groupe INTERCAR est le deuxième plus gros transporteur interurbain au Québec et l'une des plus importantes entreprises dans le transport scolaire. Les activités du Groupe Intercar débutent en 1959 mais, en 1990, Jasmin Gilbert et sa sœur Jocelyne font faire à l'entreprise un bond en avant spectaculaire avec l'acquisition des réseaux de transport interurbain de la Compagnie Voyageur au Saguenay et sur la Côte-Nord du Saint-Laurent.
