Based in England, Alice Luker is a photographer, creative director & founder of Style in Sri Lanka. Graduating in 2011 with a First Class Hons Degree in Photography & Media at the University of Surrey, Alice sprung into London's vivacious fashion industry, working for international publications/clients including Hong Kong Tatler, Kensington & Chelsea Magazine, makeup brand NARS and British Airways. With a flair for vibrant colours and a cinematic style within fashion, she transferred these skills in March 2015 with the launch of cultural travel blog Style in Sri Lanka. Olivia & Dan Photography

London is home, but we are a couple of nomads at heart, and love to travel. Our most recent trip was to Vietnam. It was a beautiful adventure we will never forget. Olivia is half Italian, and we got married this year in the mountainous region of northern Italy where her family are from. That photo you see up there, that's us on our wedding day. Hands down the best day of our life. We get it. Dan is a classically trained guitarist, and has been in a band or two. He has lived in New Zealand, and used to have dreads down to his waist. After 8 years he cut them off for charity, and kept them. He can get pretty sentimental about stuff. We are huge film buffs. Olivia is a sucker for foreign art house cinema, Dan is more into his sci-fi. You will notice cinematic influences in our style. When we aren't shooting weddings, we are most likely carrying out some sort of never-ending home improvement. Having both separately practiced photography for many years, it was our love for it that brought us together for the first time in 2014. We've always had a strong fascination with people, the connection between them and their stories, and wedding photography became a way for us to express that. Fast forward to today and we are married and working together photographing weddings, elopements and couples all around the UK and abroad. We believe the most magical thing about photography is its ability to capture and tell a story, so you can really feel what you're looking at. It's this philosophy that inspires our authentic, story-telling approach. We are driven by raw emotions, honest moments, and the kind of all-consuming love that keeps you awake at night. Maybe we've watched too many films! We get excited about the little sentimental things that make your day meaningful to you, like the reason why you've chosen to get married in a particular place. Perhaps it's a nostalgic hangout, or maybe it's the spot where you first realised you were in love.
