The High School of Glasgow

The High School of Glasgow is a vibrant, caring and high-achieving co-educational day school for pupils between the ages 3-18, which has been part of Glasgow's story since the 12th century. We aim to create a happy and nurturing community in which each individual is enabled to develop their all-round potential from the academic to sport, the expressive arts and beyond. Our young people are encouraged to develop a sense of responsibility and to pursue excellence in all their activities and opportunities. Drawing upon our Christian background and being a school community open to all faiths and none, our ethos promotes the importance of positive relationships, seeking to foster an atmosphere of mutual tolerance and support, traditional values and a concern for others. We benefit from excellent resources, modern purpose built accommodation and having our playing fields on campus. High School pupils take a positive and enthusiastic approach to the opportunities before them and demonstrate great fun, creativity and energy in all aspects of their school life. The Prentice School

The Prentice School is a 1-8 nonprofit, non-public school that educates students with learning differences, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, ADD and anxiety, using a specialized approach and targeted teaching methods. Here, students are taught to embrace the differences in themselves and in others to build community while fostering connection, belonging, confidence and growth. The Prentice School offers a breadth of unique features to meet the educational needs of our students, including: • Specialized, research-based approach tailored to students' needs • Small class sizes and personalized instruction • Fully credentialed teaching staff with advanced training in teaching methods, including multi-sensory Instruction • Methods and Structured Literacy using the classroom adaptation of the Orton-Gillingham Approach • Two licensed Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) and one licensed Occupational Therapist • Educational Assistive Technology (EdAT) and tutoring services • Before and after school care and after school clubs The Prentice School is proud to have provided life-changing education to 5,000+ students with learning differences since our founding in 1986.

Kirkkopalvelut ry

Kirkkopalvelut ry on seurakuntien ja kristillisten toimijoiden valtakunnallinen yhteistyö- ja palvelujärjestö, joka rakentaa oikeudenmukaista yhteiskuntaa, auttaa kirkkoa onnistumaan ja uudistumaan, kouluttaa ja valmentaa sekä välittää ihmisestä ja toimii hyvinvoinnin puolesta. Kirkkopalveluihin kuuluva Seurakuntaopisto tarjoaa koulutuspalveluja 2 500 opiskelijalle. Valtakunnallisesti toimiva oppilaitoskokonaisuus toimii Järvenpään, Pieksämäen ja Ruokolahden kampuksilta käsin. Vuoden 2017 alusta lukien myös Lapuan kristillinen opisto sekä Kristliga Folkhögskolan i Nykarleby (Kredu) toimivat osana Seurakuntaopistoa. Kredun osalta yhdistyminen Seurakuntaopistoon koskee ainoastaan ammatillista koulutusta. Kirkkopalvelut organisoi Yhteisvastuukeräyksen, Kotimaanapu-hyvätekeväisyyspalvelun sekä Vapaaehtoistyö.fi-palvelun, järjestää Kirkkopäivät ja Tiekirkko-toimintaa sekä tuottaa hyvinvointi- ja sosiaalipalveluja Valona-hyvinvoinnin nimellä. Kirkkopalvelujen omistama Kotimaa Oy on kustannusyhtiö ja viestinnän asiantuntijapalveluyritys. Kirkkopalvelujen toimintaa ohjaavat arvot usko, toivo ja rakkaus sekä avara kansankirkollisuus, rohkea yhteiskuntavastuu ja palveleva lähimmäisenrakkaus. Kirkkopalvelut-Kotimaan yhteensä noin 412 työntekijää toimivat pääosin Helsingissä, Pieksämäellä, Järvenpäässä, Ruokolahdella ja Lapualla. Liikevaihtomme vuonna 2018 oli noin 40 milj. €. Kirkkopalvelujen jäseninä on 319 seurakuntaa, 60 järjestöä ja 22 opintojärjestöä (huhtikuu 2019).
