Fidesco est l’une des 5 premières ONG françaises de volontariat reconnues par le ministère des Affaires étrangères. Organisation catholique de solidarité internationale, Fidesco envoie des volontaires dans les pays en développement pour mettre leurs compétences professionnelles au service d’aide aux populations locales. Véritable acteur de développement, Fidesco représente près de 170 volontaires répartis dans 23 pays pour des missions de 2 ans (1 an possible en césure). Créé en 1981, Fidesco est une association loi 1901 agrée par le Ministère des Affaires étrangères.

Depuis près de 150 ans, les 500 bénévoles de la Croix-Rouge française à Marseille poursuivent leur mobilisation pour faire reculer la précarité et secourir la population. Leur dynamisme et leur engagement permettent à la Croix-Rouge française de réaliser de nombreuses missions parmi lesquelles une grand nombre d'actions sociales. Operating for over 20 years, Planète Enfants is an association of international unity, aiding street children in Kathmandu, Nepal. Located in Asia, between China and India, Nepal is a country beset by the harsh realities of poverty. While the country has become increasingly vulnerable to the ramifications of financial instability, ignorance, and anguish, trafficking of human beings is the utmost of its severe hardships. Since its establishment in 1992, Planète Enfants has defended the rights of children, as stated in the 1989 International Convention on the Rights of the Child, the right to fair citizenship. These liberties include access to an education, health care, freedom of opinion and expression, and finally, protection against brutality and exploitation. Planète Enfants has progressively structured and utilized its resources to achieve this objective, defending children from the sexual, and violent trap of human trafficking. Despite projects conducted in many regions throughout the world, such as Benin, Kosovo, Morocco, and India, Planète Enfants has chosen to place its focus where human trafficking is vigorous and widespread. Efforts to eliminate trafficking are made by way of attacking the foundation of the issue, poverty, ignorance, and gender prejudice against girls and women. Planète Enfants currently hopes to extend its efforts to victims of trafficking in other countries, including France, the destination of many victims.
