D&D nasce negli anni 90 come piccola realtà artigiana per trasformarsi nel tempo in un'​ Azienda dove tradizione, attualità, manualità e tecnologia convivono in un equilibrio felice e perfetto. Il recupero intelligente di antiche lavorazioni del cuoio, come la concia vegetale e la tamponatura a mano delle pelli sono diventate il nostro punto di forza nonché la caratteristica peculiare dei prodotti D&D. La creazione di uno stile classico ma sempre verde, e il rimodernamento di articoli di vecchi pellettieri toscani hanno contribuito all'affermazione dei prodotti D&D e della personalità dell’Azienda in Italia e nel mondo. Tutti i prodotti D&D sono realizzati esclusivamente nel principale polo toscano della pelletteria fiorentina, dove oltre al saggio assemblaggio del prodotto, effettuato da mani esperte, viene creato sia il design che la modelleria tecnica. La scelta del pellame viene visionata di volta in volta nelle concerie di Santa Croce sull'Arno da nostri esperti pellettieri, aggiustando colori, sfumature e carattere del pellame al fine di ottenere un prodotto che contraddistingue il marchio D&D. ​Anche le metallerie vengono studiate, elaborate e realizzate da artigiani del settore presenti nel polo produttivo fiorentino per garantire una rigorosa qualità italiana e quel tocco di originalità che ci contraddistingue. The Ermanno Scervino Maison was officially founded in 2000, in Florence.
