Albright LIFE

LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly) is a Medicare/Medicaid program that helps people meet their health care needs in the community instead of going to a nursing home or other care facility. With LIFE, you have a team of health care professionals working with you and your family to make sure you get the coordinated care you need. Usually they care for a small number of people, so they really get to know you. LIFE covers all Medicare/Medicaid covered care and services, and other services that the LIFE team of health care professionals decides are necessary to improve and maintain your health. This may include drugs, as well as any other medically necessary care, like doctor or health care provider visits, transportation, home care, hospital visits, and even nursing home stays when necessary. What you pay for LIFE depends on your eligibility under Medicare and Medicaid. If you are eligible for Medicaid, or dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, you won't pay a monthly premium for LIFE. If you don't qualify for Medicaid, but you have Medicare, you'll be charged a monthly premium for LIFE. If you don't have Medicare or Medicaid, you can pay for LIFE privately. However, in LIFE, there's never a deductible or copayment for any drug, service, or care approved by the LIFE team of health care professionals. Participants must receive all needed health care services, including primary care and specialist physician services (other than emergency services), from Albright LIFE or an entity authorized by Albright LIFE. Participants may be held financially liable for unauthorized, non-emergency services.

Cosmetic Medical Training

Since 2006, Cosmetic Medical Training has provided training to Doctors (MD/DO), Dentists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Nurses in Botox® and Dermal Fillers. Our approach to learning focuses on providing you the most hands-on experience, coupled with numerous direct visual observations of all the procedures. The didactic materials are provided once you register online so that you may study them before you arrive, allowing us to condense our didactic review time and focus on the hands-on experience. After the training course, you will be given a certificate of completion that is recognized by the vendors of various aesthetics products and malpractice insurance companies. All relevant forms and vendor information will also be provided to help you start your aesthetics practice.

Clearwater Free Clinic

Since 1977, the Clearwater Free Clinic has provided problem oriented health care to low-income uninsured residents of upper Pinellas County by means of office visits, medications, lab work, x-rays, and specialty referrals. The Clinic, a volunteer driven non-profit, non-government medical facility, provides primary health care at no cost to those who do not qualify for government assistance and who cannot afford private medical care. The majority of the patients at the Clinic are hard working people with limited incomes or low paying jobs. Their income excludes them from receiving government assistance, yet prohibits them from affording private health care or insurance. Without the aid of the Clearwater Free Clinic, these uninsured residents would turn to emergency rooms for non-emergent care, at a great cost to themselves and the hospitals. More upsetting is thatmany of the uninsured will often ignore significant health problems until a crisis occurs, not wanting to incur debt. This is where the Clearwater Free Clinic is able to help.
