Em 1976, com visão empreendedora, um jovem casal recém-casado, Francisco Barbosa de Brito e Maria Lúcia Carneiro Barbosa de Brito, após deixarem o Centro-Oeste (Brasília e Goiânia) chegaram a Araguaína para realizar um sonho. Nascia, a pequena Clínica Radiológica, que na época contava apenas com um aparelho de RX da General Eletric. Localizada na atual Praça Dom Orione, antiga Praça das Nações, na esquina com uma estreita rua (Rua Gonçalves Ledo), realizava somente radiografias solicitadas por 12 médicos desta cidade. Após dois anos, compraram uma velha casa recuada na Rua Treze de Maio, 1351, Centro, onde até hoje se localiza a Clínica da Imagem.

Northwest Regional Primary Care Association

Northwest Regional Primary Care Association (NWRPCA) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 membership association that works to ensure equal access, regardless of one's financial or insurance status, to primary and preventive health care for all residents living in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. To do this, NWRPCA leverages its regional power to support and advocate for community-based health centers at the national level, and to provide training and workforce development support, helping them to become model "professional homes" to their staff and board members. This project is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under grant number U58CS06846, "S/RPCAs,"​ total award $950K, with 65 percent of program funded by nongovernmental sources.
