Castler has raised $6 million in its Pre-Series A funding round, backed by prominent investors such as Capital2B (an Info Edge fund), Flipkart, and IIFL Ventures. Additional participation came from Stride Ventures, Piper Serica, and returning investors Zerodha, Venture Catalysts, 9Unicorns, and FAAD Network.
Founded by Vineet Singh and Dinesh Kumar, two seasoned entrepreneurs with extensive startup experience, Castler is a pioneer in Digital Escrow in India. The company aims to build a global escrow platform that supports both domestic and international transactions, underpinned by principles of good governance and responsible execution.
In its journey to scale, Castler has appointed Kumar Amit (ex-VP at Razorpay) as Co-Founder & COO and Ritesh Tiwari (ex-Barclay’s & Visa Europe) as Co-Founder & CPO, further strengthening its leadership team and driving its vision for industry leadership.
