FTG Holdings Limited or Flame Tree Group is a Mauritius holding company. The Group is headquartered in Mauritius and has direct manufacturing presence in Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Mozambique.
FTG Holdings is a group of companies that operate in two main sectors: Manufacturing and Retail & Trading.
The Group operates in 4 Africa countries under the following subsidiaries:
1. Manufacturing
Roto Moulders Kenya Ltd, Roto Ltd Rwanda, Roto Plc Ethiopia: Under the Roto brand the Group operates in Kenya, Rwanda and Ethiopia. Established in 1989, Roto Tanks is a leading brand in the water and sanitation solutions sector. Apart from being a “superbrand†in Kenya, the 'Roto' brand has become generic to the manufacture and supply of water tanks in countries like Ethiopia and Rwanda. In addition Roto Rwanda manufactures PVC pipes.
Rino Tanques Lda: Based in Mozambique, Rino manufactures quality water and sanitation systems. With a product distribution centre in Pemba, in the North and Maputo in the South, Rino Tanques benefits from its wider product distribution in the country.
Flame Tree Africa Ltd: Kenya is the cosmetics subsidiary of the Group. Manufacturing of the cosmetics is carried out in Kenya but sold through Flame Tree Brands Ltd-Rwanda. The Groups cosmetics brands include “Zoeâ€, “Cerro†and “Alana†which have become popular in Kenya and Rwanda.
Cherry Styles Ltd: Based in Kenya, Cherry Styles manufactures synthetic hair extensions that include braids, weaves and wigs.
Happy Eater’s Kenya Ltd: A Kenyan based company recently acquired by the Group in a bid to diversify its revenue stream. Happy’s deals in the manufacture of snacks.
2. Retail & Trading
Flame Tree Brands Ltd: Based in Rwanda, Flame Tree Brands imports cosmetics products from Flame Tree Africa Kenya and sells them in Rwanda.
Buildmart Ltd: in Rwanda, the company deals in retail sale of hardware and products.
