Our main commissioning party is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).   Our priority areas in Somalia include Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Resource Management; Resilience building to address the root causes of Migration; and Economic Development and Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The projects and programmes are managed from GIZ’s Country Office in Kenya.
