The Nature of Learning Sierra Nevada Journeys is a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Northern Nevada and Northern California that delivers innovative outdoor, science-based education programs for youth to develop critical thinking skills and to inspire natural resource stewardship. Through multiple points of contact, our classroom-based programs, overnight science camps, professional development for teachers, and parent engagement opportunities surround students with the resources they need to succeed. All programs are designed to foster higher cognition and build long-term student achievement. We prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our view is that active reflection, engagement, and commitment to these principles are crucial to creating a workplace that has diverse perspectives.

Our mission at Encoura® (formerly known as NRCCUA®) is to empower students and institutions to create meaningful connections so everyone can make the most informed decisions to achieve their goals. We provide custom technology solutions that combine Eduventures® thought leadership research, data science, strategic enrollment and multi-channel marketing services to serve over 2,000 higher ed institutions. We offer the nation’s largest free college and career planning program—myOptions Encourage—used by millions of high school students and educators nationwide. Delaware Area Career Center

The Delaware Area Career Center offers programs for area high school students and adults to earn industry credentials in specific areas of study. The hands-on training students receive at DACC gives them a head start in college and the workforce. In addition to experience and training, DACC students have the opportunity to earn industry credentials and college credits. Many DACC students take advantage of the opportunity to work with and learn from industry professionals through internships and early job placements. Every year, high school students are offered full time jobs immediately upon graduation. Other students earn college scholarships upwards of $25,000 to continue their education. Area high schools served by the Delaware Area Career Center include Delaware Hayes, Big Walnut, Buckeye Valley, Olentangy, Olentangy Liberty, and Olentangy Orange. Through open enrollment and contracted opportunities, the Delaware Area Career Center works with Westerville North, Westerville South, Thomas Worthington and Worthington Kilbourne. Delaware Area Career Center adult programs prepare workers to enter, compete and advance in a changing work environment. These adult programs focus on the areas of public safety, healthcare, computer training, and many other career skills.
