Bartender's Best Awards and Scholarship Trust®

The Bartender’s Best Awards® are the UK’s first awards, judging all commonly used alcoholic ingredients served in bars, and judged solely by professional bartenders. Using a completely blind, independently audited process designed to offer total transparency, the award categories have been created to reflect products as they are used in a bar, employing the following sets of criteria. Products will be categorised by RRSP pricing, rather than age statement: – a standard entry level product that could be used in any house cocktail – a product that would be charged as a premium cocktail base spirit – a premium product either used as a sipping spirit or super premium cocktail base This provides a level playing field for all brands, regardless of size and budget. The rigorous judging process ensures the results will have relevance to both consumers and the greater bar community. Companies who submit their brands for inclusion in the Bartender’s Best Awards® can also feel proud to support the industry, as a portion of the proceeds generated by the awards will go towards forming The Bartender's Best Scholarship Trust® for bartenders to further their education and training. The BBST® are partnered with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) to provide the advanced level 2 professional spirits training for all successful applicants.
