American Association for Men in Nursing

Mission To shape the practice, education, research, and leadership for men in nursing and advance men's health. Vision To be the association of choice representing men in nursing. The purpose of AAMN is to provide a framework for nurses, as a group, to meet, to discuss and influence factors, which affect men as nurses. AAMN Objectives include: Encourage men of all ages to become nurses and join together with all nurses in strengthening and humanizing health care. Support men who are nurses to grow professionally and demonstrate to each other and to society the increasing contributions being made by men within the nursing profession. Advocate for continued research, education and dissemination of information about men's health issues, men in nursing, and nursing knowledge at the local and national levels. Support members'​ full participation in the nursing profession and it's organizations and use this Association for the limited objectives stated above. Organizational Structure AAMN is a national organization with local chapters recognized and sanctioned under the Bylaws of AAMN. However Chapters may have independent bylaws and a separate dues structure. Membership in the national organization does not require membership in a local chapter. AAMN is governed by the board of directors who, under the organizational bylaws have the right and responsibility to administer the business activities of the organization to include decisions related to the expenditure of organizational funds.

Wilderness Volunteers

The mission of Wilderness Volunteers is stewardship of America's wild lands through organizing and promoting volunteer service in cooperation with public land agencies. Wilderness Volunteers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in 1997 to organize and promote volunteer service to America's wild lands. We work with public land agencies including the National Park Service, the Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management and the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Our trip season typically runs from March through October. All food including snacks is provided. We offer a selection of trips with a variety of service projects; all trips cost $299. We don't charge the agencies for our work, but they supply tools and supervision for the projects. Participants provide their own camping gear (a list specific to each trip will be mailed with registration confirmation), a sense of adventure, and a willingness to contribute time and energy to worthy projects. It's incredible how much work a group of hearty volunteers can do in a week's time! All trips are led by volunteer leaders. Trips are one week long and are limited to 12 or fewer participants. Meals and snacks are included in the trip fee. Participants share camp chores. Most trips include extra time to explore and enjoy the area in which they are based. Wilderness Volunteers teaches and follows Leave No Trace® outdoor living skills and ethics. Most of all, Wilderness Volunteers is all of our volunteer leaders and participants. We are collectively making a difference in addressing the backlog of maintenance on public land in cooperation with our partner agencies.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona (BGCCAZ) is part of a nationwide movement of community-based and autonomous non-profit organizations that have been the national leader in youth development during out-of-school time. Locally, our Clubs were created to respond to the need for a safe and educational place for kids to go after-school and in the summer in the quad-cities area. We operate Clubhouses in Prescott and Prescott Valley, AZ, providing our community families with opportunities that enable youth to reach their potential through high quality development programs. In addition, we operate a Teen Center in Chino Valley, AZ, as well as a Multimedia Program that serves teens in partnership with Prescott High School. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Assoc. (MMBA)

The Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association (MMBA) is one of the largest and proactive mortgage associations throughout the country. We attempt to make available comprehensive member services to our over 300 corporate members. In addition, we have a regional perspective as the New England Mortgage Bankers Conference (September 30 – October 2, 2009 in Providence, RI) continues to be the second largest gathering in the country for real estate finance. The MMBA strives to provide the most up to date technological implementations, membership wide marketing and communications, partnership with our corporate affiliates, collaboration within the industry, with our legislators and regulators, and with our sister organizations and regional MBAs. We hope to identify and educate mortgage professionals on cutting edge lending products and services. We hope to provide a marketplace for you to market your goods and services to buyers within the industry. And - we hope to have a little fun in the process!! Education Programs: The MMBA provides education and training. This includes all areas of mortgage training including emerging trends, regulatory compliance, sales and marketing, ethics and related skills for all levels of employees. The MMBA, through its programs, strives to provide training and networking opportunities that reflect the high standards of ethics and quality espoused by the association's Code of Ethics.

Neighborhood Recovery Community Development Corporation

Neighborhood Recovery Community Development Corporation (NRCDC) revitalizes communities from a holistic approach. Our work encourages economic development and investment, effectively provides and encourages the development of housing for persons of low and moderate income, and works with other private and public entities. NRCDC is a community development corporation operating city wide but has served the Third Ward since 1992.
