Bhumi is one of India's largest independent youth volunteer non-profit organisations. Bhumi as a platform enables over 12,000 volunteers in more than 12 cities across India for causes such as education, environment, animals and community welfare. Bhumi is the recipient of the ‘Leader in Volunteer Engagement Award' conferred by iVolunteer in 2014. Geographical Presence: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and Delhi NCR. Bhumi has two core areas of work - Education and Civic Projects Ignite: Transformational Education Ignite is Bhumi's supplementary education programme for under-privileged children. The programme is delivered during the weekends by over 2,000 trained Bhumi volunteers. Over 10,000 children are benefiting from the programme in 2015 across 12 Indian cities with the aim of providing children with quality education to enable them become responsible and productive citizens of the future. The programme consists of English, Mathematics, Science, Robotics, Computers, Dance, Arts, Sports, Mentoring and Life skills support. Catalyse: Transforming Citizenry Catalyse consists of Bhumi's civic initiatives that engage volunteers in causes like animal welfare, community welfare, disability, environment, health etc. The programmes consisting of one-off and regular volunteering activities engage over 10,000 volunteers each year in over 15 cities across India. The Robin Hood Army (RHA) is a zero funds, volunteer organization consisting of thousands of young professionals and citizens who dedicate their free time to collecting surplus food from restaurants and distributing it to those in need. Over the past nine years, the RHA has provided meals to 118 Million + individuals in 401 cities worldwide. The RHA's innovative approach to scaling up involves leveraging social media and partnerships, rather than relying on financial contributions. The work by RHA has even led to it being studied by Harvard University as a case study.

Make A Difference (MAD) is one of India's largest millennial-driven, non-profit organizations working to transform outcomes for children in need of care and protection. MAD's Vision is that all children that grow up in care in India are able to realize equitable outcomes on par with the middle class. MAD’s Mission is to ensure that all children in shelters across India are able to realize equitable outcomes within the next 25 years, by mobilizing the community, empowering the child, enabling the sector, and changing the ecosystem. We are building new holistic, integrated, and long-term developmental methodologies that enable us to work with children in an age-transitional way, all the way from young childhood into adulthood, from age 10 to 28. As of today Make a Difference works with approximately 3500 children in partnership with 60 shelters across 23 cities in India, through a highly efficient and unique operating model that is almost entirely volunteer-driven with an overall workforce size of 4000 in flat, distributed structure that runs on virtual infrastructure. We operate at less than 1/10th the cost of an equivalent sized non-profit, with no loss in continuity, retention or quality, and are pioneers in both culture and organisational design that is specialized for impact.
