San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS)

As the largest provider of public transportation in San Diego County, the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is committed to providing exceptional service to the people of the San Diego region. Every year more than 95 million people ride MTS buses and Trolleys. We have more than 80 fixed-route bus lines and 54 miles of Trolley service. Our fleet of compressed natural gas buses and electric Trolleys allow MTS to be one of the greenest companies in San Diego. MTS recently started testing a zero-emission bus program, with a commitment to go all electric by 2040. Additionally, as our region continues to grow, there will be a greater dependence on public transportation to help achieve mobility goals. Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT)

The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is the 2021 national APTA Outstanding Public Transportation System of the Year award recipient for accomplishment and innovations in public transportation, the 2021 and 2020 national APTA Rail Safety Gold Award recipient for its multi-faceted and innovative approach to reducing crime and fare evasion, and the 2022 and 2019 national TSA Gold Standard Security Award recipient for the highest standard of excellence. We operate approximately 82 bus routes (fixed-route, dial-a-ride and microtransit); 43 miles of light rail serving 53 stations; and ADA paratransit services all within a 440-square mile service area throughout Sacramento County, which includes service in the cities of Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Folsom and Rancho Cordova.
