VONDELING Inspectietechniek & Training vof is een bedrijf dat zich richt op inspecties en trainingen ten behoeve van brandveiligheid, eerste hulp en milieu. Alle inspecties en trainingen worden conform de geldende normen uitgevoerd. VONDELING Inspectietechniek is REOB, NIBHV, Nikta en Scios erkend.

Stichting Citysteward Rotterdam

Stichting Citysteward Rotterdam biedt praktijkgerichte trainingen voor jongeren. De doelstelling van de stichting is de deelnemers via scholing, praktijkstages en intensieve begeleiding te activeren. Zij krijgen de kans 2 landelijk erkende certificaten te behalen (keuze uit 14; van VCA tot vorkheftruck, flensmonteur, autotheorie), volgen diverse praktische lessen gericht op de persoonlijke ontwikkeling en (werknemers)vaardigheden, komen in contact met werkgevers en bezoeken bedrijven. Door de trainingen van Citysteward wordt het zelfbeeld en zelfvertrouwen van de jongeren versterkt. Sociale vaardigheden en werknemersvaardigheden worden aangeleerd. Daarnaast zijn de jongeren na hun training weerbaarder geworden. Niet alleen weerbaarder tegen groepsdruk, maar ook tegen spannende of bedreigende situaties. Met de training kunnen nuttige en zinvolle certificaten worden behaald, die niet alleen het ‘het-kan-wel'-gevoel versterken, maar die ook de drempel naar de arbeidsmarkt verlagen. Jongeren verstoppen zich niet meer achter hun verleden, maar richten zich met energie op de toekomst. De waardering die de jongeren tijdens hun werkzaamheden ontvangen versterkt deze positieve ontwikkeltrend. Bij de aanpak van (jeugd)overlast speelt het concept van de Training Citysteward een nuttige rol. Na de trainingsperiode kunnen deelnemers als citysteward worden ingezet (o.a. in het 010 CITYTEAM (bijbaan)).

Belgium Cold Springs Fire Department

The Belgium Cold Springs Fire Department is a 100% volunteer organization. The Department mans two fire stations and operates a fire training facility in the Town of Lysander, Onondaga County, New York. The Department is responsible for providing fire, rescue and emergency services to the Belgium Cold Springs Fire District.

The Red Guide to Recovery

The Red Guide to Recovery was created to address the distress and uncertainty following a disaster by providing the information and tools that survivors need to navigate the daunting and often overwhelming task of recovery. Our mission is to help first responders get the information they need to help individuals, families, and whole communities expedite this process and rebuild their lives. The question most frequently asked first responders after a disaster is: "What do we do now?" The Red Guide to Recovery helps answer this question.

Briaroaks Fire Department

Briaroaks Fire Department provides Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a population of approximately 10,000 people living in an area of 35 square miles of the Briaroaks Fire District. The department is incorporated in the State of Texas and is recognized as a 501(c)(3) exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The department responds to over 1000 calls for service each year, most of which are medical calls. Primary funding for department operations is received through the Johnson County Emergency Services District (ESD). The department holds numerous fundraisers throughout the year and also operates a charitable bingo facility in Cleburne, Texas. All equipment and training will be provided, and all members are covered by worker's compensation and supplemental insurance. The Briaroaks Fire Department was formed in 1971 by dedicated citizens in and around the City of Briaroaks. The department was originally located in a barn located on Ward Lane across the street from the current location of Station 1. Over the next few years, the department slowly added apparatus and fire equipment and became a part of the Johnson County Rural Prevention District. In 1976, the department incorporated as a Texas non-profit corporation.
